Why are we doing this?

Imagine a restaurant with food that works for you and with you at a cellular level!

Our industrialized food system is killing us. Processed foods are subsidized and cheaper, becoming the affordable ingredients - they end up in the restaurant food we are served. Large feedlots & big-ag sprayed fields crowd out the small farmer - the meats & veggies to which we have the greatest access are not as healthy as the local originals.

Food is just not food, like it used to be.

The big idea of TimeMachine Supper Club is for like-minded people to gather together to rediscover non-processed food, prepared without seed oils or additives. How good could that be?! Our current, convenient world of oils, dressings and ingredients are poisoning us… but the argument goes, no one is willing to pay for the good stuff at a restaurant. Well, maybe there really is a demand for thoughtfully prepared foods even if they are more expensive. We plan to host these supper club meals every other month. Or more often. But at some point, we believe the demand for clean eating at restaurants will be clear. Who knows, this could become the start of a whole new clean food restaurant in Greensboro that we can trust.

Do we need to dress up like the glammy images on these pages?

No! Dress casually if you like - or wear a tux if you’re really into that. We don’t care and we won’t judge. This is just for fun. Really, just come to enjoy an incredible meal. There is no dress code. But your tummy will feel like it’s wearing a diamond tiara!

Will we be automatically signed up for all dinners if we sign up for one?

No. Each dinner will have its own reservation list.

Will we be able to order different food?

Sorry. No. The menu is the menu. We will publish it before hand and you can always miss a Supper Club if the menu doesn’t trip your trigger.

Can we just drop in if we haven’t reserved a seat?

Wish we could accommodate that. But we are going to base the price of the dinner based on the food that we have to purchase and the seats that we sell. There is a slight chance that some may cancel or not be able to make it for some reason, but we are going to dial it in pretty tight and we probably won’t be able to give you a seat at the table unless you have reserved your seat. So… be sure to make your reservations!!
